Salina Family Healthcare Center, a nationally-recognized federally qualified health center (FQHC) located in Salina, Kansas, is accepting applicants for its Chief Executive Officer position.
The CEO is the chief administrative officer, professional leader, and community liaison of the Center. The CEO has overall responsibility for implementation of the organization’s mission and goals, execution of all Board-established policies, and the effective and efficient operation and growth of the organization through oversight of other key management staff. The successful candidate should share the clinic’s mission of service and education, and demonstrate understanding and support of graduate medical education.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a health or business-related field and five (5) years’ experience in a health-related organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in a health-related organization. Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center and/or graduate medical education environment is preferred. Knowledge of FQHC and/or family medicine residency program operations, funding streams, regulations, and compliance is highly desired. Strong financial and operations skills are critical, as is the ability to lead the organization through ongoing changes in healthcare. The ideal candidate should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of local, state, and national partners.
