Encompass Health Corp. is building, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Greenville, South Carolina on the corner of Laurens Road and Dallas Road.

Complementing local acute care services, the hospital, which is expected to open in mid-2021, will care for patients recovering from a variety of debilitating illnesses and injuries including strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. It offers physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as 24-hour nursing care that aim to restore functional ability and quality of life.

We are seeking a full time PM&R Medical Director interested in building a practice and growing with the Greenville, SC community. High income potential in a beautiful area of South Carolina. PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION

• Expected patient load 15-20 patients
• Medical Director compensation for administrative duties

PRACTICE MODEL
 
PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients.  The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections.  Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes - Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
