JOB SUMMARY
The Coder III is responsible for coordinating, performing and completing chart audits for Medicare compliancy. Coding consists of outpatient services in office, hospital outpatient and inpatient services including procedures. To ensure and monitor that coders provide technical aspects of the assignment diagnostic and procedure codes are carried out in accordance with established standards and in compliance with CMS, NCQA and other regulatory agencies, and Tenet policy.
