Four-time Magnet-designated Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer of Inpatient Nursing and Nursing Resources. Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer & Chief Nursing Officer, this professional licensed nurse leader provides an environment for the coordination and delivery of quality, safe clinical care that meets the highest level of professionalism consistent with a Magnet hospital. In addition, this role has the responsibility of the 145 bed inpatient teams of patient care/nursing that include the following patient care/nursing units/ departments: medical-surgical units, critical care unit, IV team, float pool, staffing office and nursing supervisors. This leader will develop and promote collaborative and collegial relationships with nursing including 22 direct reports, hospital leadership and physician colleagues at Winchester Hospital and across the Beth Israel Lahey Health system.
In addition to a desire to mentor and coach, ideal candidates will possess the following:
Master’s degree in nursing or closely related field or must obtain master’s degree within 5 years of hire (either the bachelors or master’s degree must be in nursing) Preferred:master’s degree upon hire
At least five years of work experience as a nurse, with at least two years in nursing leadership
