Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Records Coder I for Atlantic Neuroscience Associates, part of Atlantic Medical Group in Summit NJ.
Monday through Friday: 8am to 4pm
No weekend coverage needed
Dual job role : Servicing O/P Neurology and Rev Cycle Dept
Primary responsibility will be focused on proper coding / billing of TOXINS, Drugs and Biologics, EMG Procedure - correcting Hospital/Professional Billing issues, Securing Prior Authorizations for Toxins and Procedures
Review physician billing and coding and manage work queues in EPIC including CCI/MEU/LCD workqueue.
Communicate with physicians regarding edits, correct billings as needed
Address/handle RFI reports
Inpatient & Outpatient coding
Improve processes and workflow for revenue cycle
Manage the daily volume of billing
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma required
CPC Certification required
2-3 years of coding experience required
Experience with Epic preferred
