The explosive population growth of West and North Texas has led the practice into a phase of expansion that will encompass the addition of key clinical programs and additional surgical faculty.

Seeking candidates, including 2024 fellows, with interest in joining a thriving Pain Management service currently consisting of 2 chronic pain physicians, 3 anesthesiologists, 2 inpatient advanced practice providers, 1 outpatient advanced practice provider and a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, cognitive behavioral therapists, social workers, nurses, and a coordinator.
The multidisciplinary chronic pain clinic offers medication management, interventional pain procedures, medical acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, yoga therapy, biofeedback, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
The inpatient pain service provides acute and chronic pain consult services. OR anesthesia time is also available.
Qualified candidates may participate in the fellow’s retention program that will provide a monthly stipend of $2,500 from the time a contract is signed through the start of practice with Cook Children’s.
Opportunities available, but not required, to teach medical students and residents as well as pursue clinical research with support including campus IRB, grant writing, research nurses, and a dedicated PhD statistician.
Preference weighted towards fellowship trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology as well as Pain Management.
