The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), in collaboration with the Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) at Atrium Health, is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Spine Physiatrist to join our practice in the Charlotte metro area. Atrium Health offers the most advanced musculoskeletal care in the Southeast, including more than 200 physicians collaborating in the areas of sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, and spine care within the MSKI.

Candidates will become part of SpineFirst, a new joint venture that focuses on delivering the highest level of surgical and nonsurgical spine care to patients by bringing together the state-of-the-art facilities of one of the nation's largest health systems with the spine expertise of the largest private neurosurgical group in the country.
In conjunction with the PM&R Department, candidates will have the opportunity to develop a strong clinical practice while remaining a core member of the faculty for both PM&R and the MSKI.
Opportunities exist for growth in research, education, and care pathways.
Ideal candidates:
Will have an interest in resident and fellow education, and academic growth.
The ability to perform interventional spine procedures.
This position will also provide the opportunity for education, both within the clinic and in didactic sessions, for PM&R residents.
Candidates will also participate in shared call coverage.

About the practice:
Carolinas Rehabilitation (CR), a facility of Atrium Health located in Charlotte, NC, is one of the largest rehabilitation providers in the nation and is known for excellence in clinical care and its academic mission. CR is comprised of four rehabilitation facilities, all located in the Charlotte Metro area.
