PA or NP, Orthopedics (Hospitalist)
OverviewThe Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for daily consults (trauma, ED and floor consults), procedures consisting of fracture and joint reductions, joint aspirations, I&D's, casting and splinting.  Other responsibilities consist of OR first assisting and daily rounds. No call.  Monthly education consisting of fracture conference, PA lectures and hand conference.  CME awarded for all lectures.  Four-month training for all new hires. Schedule to include, 40 hours per week with some nights. Varying 10 and 12 hour shifts with 1-2 days off per week.  Occasional weekends and holiday coverage.   The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work under
