The department provides a full spectrum of services, including non-operative care, minimally invasive procedures, complex spinal deformity correction, and advanced surgical interventions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinic-based care, including patient evaluations, documentation, and coordination
Serve as first assist in the operating room for spine procedures
Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, including education and follow-up
Manage patient communications and clinical questions (phone, EMR messaging)
Conduct peer-to-peer reviews for insurance authorization
Support post-operative management, including inpatient rounding, recovery monitoring, and wound care
Opportunity to develop and lead independent clinics over time
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
At least one year of experience as a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a focus in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.
Experience in Robotics/First Assist is highly preferred.
