Position Information: The Team Leader, Patient Finance - Quality is responsible for ensuring compliance and understanding for standard work processes throughout WakeMed Physician Practices. Serves as a resource for appointment schedulers, referral and authorization staff and other departments regarding the patient registration, referral-authorization and appointment scheduling processes and supports the training of new staff on these procedures and other standard work. Monitors the volume and accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information at the time of registration. Identifies barriers to effective and efficient registration and appointment scheduling processes and suggests opportunities for improvement. Incorporates a strong emphasis on customer service and quality. Collaborates with management staff to identify issues that interfere with the department?s ability to meet the goals. Experience Requirements: 2 Years Healthcare With Medical Insurance Plans And Scheduling Required - Or Equivalent Experience
Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - With Equivalent Experience Or Associate's Degree Business Administration Or Related Field In Lieu of Experience
